It's that time of year-Thanksgiving!
It's a time where we can step back from our life and reflect on how the Lord has showered us with many blessings. I know for me this year He has provided so many blessings in ministry. Relationships within our community have been growing deeper through Christ's love. As you can see above, there's been a lot happening in our household and formation life! In the past few weeks we've had a huge sleepover (top left/right), a trip to Kansas (top middle), and a Mulan-themed dinner party. Throughout all of this the women have been building deep sister relationships and desiring to invite other women more into the freedom they have experienced in being a disciple of Christ. On another note: I am also VERY grateful for you! This work could not happen without your support and prayers. I hope and pray you have a wonderful time with your family and friends during Thanksgiving break.

During the week of Halloween, we had a large group formation night, which is when our core students gather for to worship and receive a talk on Christian Discipleship. These students are amazing! They are asking themselves, am I hungry? Am I a disciple? What is a disciple? How am I making "disciples of all nations?" Our students see that their lives are a gift! A gift from the God the Father and because of this gift they are desiring to learn how to serve those around them. Our theme this year in formation is specifically service.
Pictured above is our core students who decided to "dress up like a missionary" (pictured on the right). On the left is a group of us who decided it would be funny to dress up like the Brotherhood of Hope! This order serves alongside SPO on campuses across the country and are a great support in this work! Cheers to my first blog post! I am excited to share with you all the graces of your support here at UST. Thank you so much for your support and prayers. Without you this work is just not possible!
The semester is flying by and the Lord is about a great work on campus! It's been actually overwhelming seeing how many men and women are attracted to our way of life and wanting to get connected to the SPO community. As a team, we are continually seeking Christ's guidance as we move forward in the semester. It's an exciting season where the harvest is plentiful! Prayer Request: Please pray for all the women who are in and leading evangelistic small groups! Some of these women are experiencing deep, authentic sisterhood for the first time. Above you will see pictures from a recent women's night where we listened to a talk on the importance of virtuous women's friendships. If we desire to grow into the women that God created us to be...what better way than to journey with other sisters seeking after Christ? |
